WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICE FEES?

Our fees vary depending on the services we offer outlined below: -

Standard bookkeeping services (including payroll) $75 / hour

​

Online Accounting software services (setup, data import, customisation etc) $85 / hour

​

Forensic bookkeeping, management reporting, advice & Training $100 / hour

​

Business Consulting Services $120 Hour

ONLINE LODGMENT FEES

IAS Monthly Lodgment $30 per lodgment

BAS quarterly lodgment $50 per lodgment

(Other portal lodgment fees that may arise from time to time will be advised individually depending on degree of complexity).

WHAT IS A BAS AGENT

A BAS Agent must have attained certain qualifications, hold required PI Insurance and maintain a level of training in order to be registered with the Tax Practitioners Board.  The duties they can perform are  outlined below in detail from the ATO website.....

"You need to be registered as a BAS agent with the Tax Practitioners Board if you provide BAS services for a fee or reward. Paid employees providing BAS services to or on behalf of their employers do not need to be registered.

BAS services include:

  • advising clients about their obligations under BAS provisions including  

    • GST

    • fuel tax

    • luxury car tax

    • wine equalisation tax (WET)

    • fringe benefits tax (FBT)

    • pay as you go (PAYG) withholding

    • PAYG instalments

  • preparing and lodging approved forms about a client's liabilities, obligations or entitlements under BAS provisions

  • dealing with us on behalf of a client in relation to their obligations under BAS provisions.

BAS agents may offer additional services on behalf of their clients as indicated by the Tax Practitioners Board, including:

  • calculating and lodging income statements, employee termination payments, gross wages, allowances and other taxable and non-taxable payroll items

  • completing and lodging Single Touch Payroll reports to the ATO

  • calculating, paying, verifying and reporting super guarantee (SG) contributions

  • determining and reporting an SG shortfall amount and any associated administrative fees

  • dealing with super payments made through a clearing house

  • completing and lodging a taxable payments annual report to the ATO

  • sending a tax file number declaration to the Commissioner

  • applying to the Registrar for an Australian business number."                                                                                                                                In addition, a BAS Agent may lodge Activity statements and other obligations on behalf of their clients via the BAS Agent portal which may provide time concessions for lodgment and payment.  During the COVID pandemic BAS Agents were given the extra authority to prepare all the employer stimulus lodgments for Jobkeeper claims, monthly declarations, Jobmaker registrations and cashflow boost related enquiries.

DO YOU DO INCOME TAX RETURNS?

No, we cannot lodge or advise you on income tax matters however we can liase with your accountant or tax agent to ensure your books are up to date & ready for supply to them in a manner that will enable them to prepare your tax returns most effectively and provide year end journals for us to enter upon completion.


We are registered to process and submit your BAS/IAS/Payg/STP/TPAR/Super Guarantee and various related lodgments. Only registered Tax Agents and Accountants can submit Tax returns to the ATO. Should you require an accountant or tax agent we can supply you with recommendations and details of many we have worked with over the years and whom we have seen offer excellent service, skill and results.
